PRE NUPTIAL AGREEMENTS

A Prenuptial Agreement is an agreement entered into by a couple before they get married setting out what is intended to happen to pre marriage assets and what they would wish to happen in relation to financial matters in the event of a divorce.

A Postnuptial Agreement is an agreement entered into by a couple after they get married or a couple have formed a civil partnership. The Agreement provides details on how the couple’s assets and property would be split in the event of the couple separating or divorcing.Whilst not binding they may be persuasive in a court of law.
